Breadcrumbs add a sugary crunch to vanilla ice-cream which will have everyone coming back for more.

  • 1l good quality vanilla ice cream
  • 120g fresh wholemeal or brown breadcrumbs
  • 190g light brown sugar
  • fresh berries optional to serve

The Instruction of brown bread ice cream

  • transfer ice cream to fridge for 30 minutes to soften
  • preheat oven to 200u00b0c combine breadcrumbs and sugar then spread onto a baking tray lined with non stick baking paper bake for 8 10 minutes turning occasionally until lightly caramelised cool before using your hands to break it into clumps or place in a food processor and give it a whiz allow crumbs to cool completely then fold into ice cream return to freezer until frozen solid and serve with berries if desired
