- 375g spaghetti or other pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 500g beef mince
- 150g button mushrooms finely chopped
- 575g jar tomato pasta sauce
The Instruction of beef and mushroom bolognese
- heat oil in a medium frying pan on high brown mince for 4 5 minutes breaking up any lumps with the back of a spoon as it cooks
- add mushrooms and cook stirring for another 4 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender
- stir in sauce and bring to the boil reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 10 minutes
- meanwhile cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 10 12 minutes following packet instructions drain well
- serve pasta topped with bolognese sprinkle with a little shaved parmesan and chopped parsley if you like
